Mission and Vision:

Excel Community Development is dedicated to contributing to communities through the creation of future-focused, education-centered hubs that prioritize healthcare, housing, and workforce development.

Key Initiatives and Programs:

Our key initiatives revolve around improving the quality of life for multiple generations by providing education, enhancing access to healthcare, supporting housing needs, and empowering individuals through workforce enrichment. We are excited to launch the Divine House of Washington County program, aimed at providing essential resources and services to marginalized individuals and families in our community.

Community Impact:

Excel Community Development collaborates with civil and social organizations, including the Greenville, Mississippi Mayor’s Health Council, to make a positive impact. Since 2018, we have served over 13,000 locals across 7 Mississippi counties. Our commitment extends to supporting families during crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic and local disasters like the tornadoes of 2023.

Founder's Influence:

Reggie Whitley, our founder and Chief Executive Officer, has laid the foundation for our mission and vision. His leadership ensures that Excel Community Development continues to fulfill its purpose through innovative partnerships, initiatives, and collaborations.

Partnerships and Collaborations:

We value partnerships with organizations like M.A.G.I.C. - Making a Great Impact in the Community, Daughters of the Most High, City of Rolling Fork, and others. These collaborations enable us to reach more individuals and fulfill our initiatives effectively.

Future Goals:

Our future goals include launching a food pantry and feeding program, relaunching the Empowered Education Scholarship Fund, initiating summer and after-school feeding programs for K-12 children, and creating internship opportunities for local high school scholars. These initiatives align with our commitment to community well-being and empowerment.
